Trending: Hair Oil

No longer reserved for Asian and Afro-Caribbean hair, hair oil has finally reached the mainstream, thanks, in part, to the speedy rise of Moroccan Oil.
Moroccan Oil transformed the hair industry, when founder Carmen Tal travelled to Israel and experienced the wonders of Moroccan oils such as Argan.
As it is suitable for all hair types, from fine to afros, hair oil is a truly modern solution, and naturally has been adopted by big beauty brands.

The High-Street Hotty

Schwarzkopf have just introduced their BC Oil Miracle Care Range, containing botanical oils, it particularly benefits coloured or damaged hair. The range features: a miracle shampoo, conditioner and gold shimmer treatment. I’d recommend the BC Miracle Oil Conditioner, which detangles and provides shine. Priced at £12.50,  for 150ml you get the most for your money.

The Stylist’s Favourite

Clynol, the salon brand shaped by stylists, have just released their oil treatment, Clynol Glow Precious Oil. Priced at £17.95 for 75ml, Clynol’s hair oil is an exotic blend of natural oils including African Marula oil, and Oleic acid, which reduces split ends by 90%.
Available to buy at all Clynol salons and online at hairsupermarket.com

The Original

Instantly absorbing, Moroccanoil Oil Treatment helps eliminate frizz, and easily detangles. The unique quality of instant absorption allows it to impart instant shine without leaving an oily residue and builds flexible strength, restores shine and even protects against environmental damage.
Available to buy at: lookfantastic.com

All oils can be applied to damp or dry hair, but for best results, apply 1-2 pumps to damp hair from mid-length to ends, and either leave to dry naturally or blow-dry.

You can even give dried hair another spritz for shinier results.
The result is soft, shiny and health hair, what’s more to like?
