It isn’t often that I veer away from my trusty M.A.C blusher but as soon as I saw this colour, it had to be done.
Chanel devotees will know that the packaging makes buying Chanel an ever in itself. Upon freeing my beautiful black compact from its velvet sleeve, I was instantly turned into a little girl, when faced with this vibrant apricot and it’s cute little brush lying alongside it.
Chanel’s spring blush, Frivole, is understandably it’s only spring offering because it can’t be bettered, you can use it as a contouring tool, but a small dab on the apples of cheeks, ensures the perfect spring boost.
Chanel Joues Contraste in Frivole. Available at Selfridges, priced £31.
Chanel has released 3 new lipstick shades for Spring, but their Rouge Allure in Captivante is definitely the most Springy, and versatile.
As always, encased in the signature black press-and-pull case, Captivante looks pretty brown on first glance, but once applied is a nude rosy colour. Officially, it is brown enhanced with flickers of amber and copper, which give the rich pigment depth. Although it would make a pricey lip balm, it is the most moisturising lipstick I’ve tried, and lasts for hours so needs no re-application; making this a very cost-effective and perennially chic buy.
Available at Harrods, priced £25.
I am in love with the blush for spring!!! I'm really into the orangey-pink blush colors right now, and I can't wait for spring to come NOW!!! Would love it if you checked out my blog http://myfairadily.blogspot.com and leave me advice on how to improve 😉
