Introducing Paul Smith Portrait

Fragrance is a hard thing to master, seeing as how scent is so very personal.
However, when you’ve built a career on knowing exactly what people want and are revered the world over for your affability, it makes the task a little easier.

Paul Smith‘s fragrances have been distinguishable for decades,  their  punchy psychedelic prints aching for your attention as you wander up to the till.

This season it is clear that Smith has taken inspiration from his catwalk collection of sophisticated separates, tailored to perfection, for his newest fragrance Portrait.

Inspired by his love of photography and travel, the new scent is a result of a two-year collaboration with Barnabe Fillion– the bearded beauty from Paris who featured in Smith’s Autumn/Winter ’11 campaign, and who coincidentally has a nose for, well, being a nose.

Portrait, which is available in an Eau de Parfum for women also comes in an Eau de Toilette for men.
Portrait for Women is a fresh, green and fruity fragrance, with top notes of bergamot, blackcurrant and peach, whilst Portrait for Men is a spicy, woody scent, infused with pink pepper, cedarwood and tolu balm.

Both come in a semi metallic case, with a blue Eau for the boys and blush pink for the girls,
so if you’re loved up and looking for a his & hers scent, beauty cabinets don’t really come much cooler.

If you’re single and ready to mingle, spritz away safe in the knowledge that a french hotty has made this scent especially for you.
