This weekend saw the stars eschew their zombie rags and fast food costumes for much finer garms, in honour of the third annual LACMA Art+Film Gala in L.A, co-chaired by the Leonardo DiCaprio and Eva Chow.
The night, sponsored by Gucci, was, as expected, a very swanky affair, with stars from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to James Franco, dressed head-to-toe in the Italian mega brand.
In an evenning seeming all about embellishment, there were four ladies who stole the show for Blush.
Kate Beckinsale channelled her inner mermaid in a glistening light aqua strapless gown, whilst Nicole Richie’s semi-sheer floor skimming black chiffon number was cleverly encrusted to cover her bits and perfectly balanced by her slick, plaited, high ponytail and smokey eyes.
Zoe Saldana did a Gwyneth Paltrow in sheer panelled illusion dress, accented with metallic green strips on the sleeves, smokey eyes and a simple side parting, whilst Salma Hayek, Mrs LVMH herself, was as gorgeous as ever in a nude halterneck gown, heavily bejewelled at the waist, accessorised with simple diamond earrings and unfussy hair.
What a way to see off Halloween and see in the Christmas season.
