The Prada show is alway met with great anticipation. Mainly because Miuccia Prada always sets the tone for the season and the mood for the year to come. For Autumn/Winter 2014-15 Prada paired oversized wool blazers and colourful shearlings with lucid linings, with prim centre-parted buns and spidery lashes.
It’s been a while since lashes have been a consideration, what with catwalks awash with make-up barely there for Spring/Summer, Resort and this Winter.
Minimal make-up, isn’t completely over, however. Once again blusher and bronzer didn’t make an appearance. Next season is all about focusing on one feature, and in this case the eyes.
Countless layers of mascara, were used to create the clumped, spidery lash look which (on some models,) was paired with a sweep of pale blue eyeshadow and tinted berry lips, to give that washed out effect. Much like a ballerina on her way home after a long show, fresh faced of course.
