G’s Top 3: Mascaras

Gosia is back to reveal her favourite beauty buys. This week she looks at the one product no will ever deny buying- mascara.

A great mascara is essential to every beauty bag, but the huge selection of lengthening, volumising, waterproof wands can be overwhelming. Hopefully I’ve made it a little easier.

Lancôme Hypnose Star

This is the star among mascaras. If you are after Hollywood curl and fully amplified lashes this is the mascara for you. The mineral pigments creating the ‘Black Diamond’ effect and fluid formula, combined with an innovative dual-sided brush, sculpt lashes smoothly and precisely, making them long and luscious.  The result is hypnotising and show-stopping eyes with the touch of a wand.
Lancome, Hypnose Star Mascara, £22.50. Available at JohnLewis

MAC Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash

This magic mascara is my number one. The dual wiper system lets you decide if you prefer naturally defined lashes, or a full-on dramatic look. The velvety lightweight formula coats the lashes from root to tip, whilst the conditioning ingredients prevent dryness and hardening.
M.A.C, Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash Mascara, £18. Available at maccosmetics.co.uk
Max Factor 2000 Calories

This year Max Factor’s 2000 Calories celebrates 20 years of creating statement lashes.
Seemingly never out of fashion. 2000 Calories contains liquid crystals to build length, whilst the wide-bristled brush locks in its super-pigment to bulk up the thinnest of lashes instantly. This perfect lash-enhancing buy comes with a price-tag that screams-you must have me.

Max Factor, 2000 Calorie Mascara, £8.99. Available at Boots.com
