So lip balm may not be the most glamorous of products on your beauty must-have list, but there is no denying it’s an essential. Gosia picks her top lip balms for avoiding the much dreaded, dry, chapped lips.
Clarins – HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm
This protective treatment is the perfect solution for sore lips that are in serious need of intensive repair and conditioning. Essential rose wax and Shea butter provide immediate comfort, whilst two types of hyaluronic acid maintain hydration levels; simultaneously soothing and plumping lips. The rice oil extracts also add a lovely rosy tint and though £19 may be pricey for a lip balm, it is worth every penny.

Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm in Berry
A cult status lip product, Carmex is one of my drugstore faves. Key ingredients- Vitamin E, aloe butter, Shea butter and SPF15 keeps lips nourished, moisturised and protected. Its berry tint smells as lovely as it looks and its non-sticky glossy texture will transform your lips. Great budget product for under fiver.

Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Creme & Honey Lip Butter
This rich nourishing lip butter won me over with its irresistibly delicious scent of sharp citrus and sweet honey. The soothing and conditioning beeswax formula, along with a blend of nourishing butters and botanical oils, helps to lock in moisture and keep lips looking healthy with a lustrous shine. The cute packaging also helps.
