This season mini handbags ruled supreme, seen everywhere from Louis Vuitton in the form of luxe mini bucket bags, at Miu Miu and at Balenciaga as marbled mini handbags. Not only are they super cute, but they’re perfect for the countless festivals, park sessions and carnivals the Summer promises.
1.Kurt Geiger x Crabtree
Kurt Geiger‘s ‘Everything but the dress’ range is a huge untapped resource of phone covers, jewellery and bikinis, but what I love most is their collection of mini bags. I couldn’t decide between these three baby beauties but luckily they all go with Crabtree & Evelyn‘s baby blue varnish.
Clockwise from top: Crabtree & Evelyn, Sky Nail Lacquer, £6; Kurt Geiger, Britton Tassel Bucket Bag in Black, £150; Kurt Geiger, Britton Cross body Bag in Orange, £175; Kurt Geiger, Britton Cross body Bag in Tan, £175;
2.Urban Outfitters White with Henry Holland x Elegant Touch
As the Blush Bus are stocking Henry Holland‘s nails this summer, I’ve been lucky enough to try them all. They’re super fun, but pretty out there, so Urban Outfitter’s white leather bucket-style cross body bag, is the perfect sorbet to an array of neon and glitter faces.
Clockwise from top: Urban Outfitters, Out From Under Vertical Zip Leather Bag in White, £38; House of Holland x Elegant Touch, Royal Explosion, £9; House of Holland x Elegant Touch, Glittery Face Ache, £9; House of Holland x Elegant Touch, Face Ache, £9.
3. Match Whistles Silver rivington with Models Own in Sugar Plum Fairy or blush pink etc
Whistles Rivington cross body cracked silver clutch, is one of those buys that you kknow will get better with age, the envelops style and metallic finish is perfect for going from day to evening and everyone loves a chain strap. Because this bag is silver, it’s best to keep nails a bit more subdued, Model’s Own pastel pink is a great option.
4. Match Henry Holland star bag with Butter London Jasper or Fiver
You can’t beat a bit of glitter at any time of year, and I wouldn’t think of going to any one other than Henry Holland for a fun statement piece. His glitter bag that looks like the first time I ever tried to draw a star, is now half price (yipee!) and looks great with Butter London’s fantastic mint or lemon lacquers.
