Look of the day – Rosie H-W at #Cannes and The best of the rest

Cannes continues not to disappoint in the style stakes. Last week was most definitely Blake Lively‘s, but British supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitely has swiftly stolen her crown as Cannes’ best dressed. The model who was in town to promote Magnum and attend the star-studded Roberto Cavalli yacht bash (as you do), stunned on the red carpet in a strapless grey Gucci Premiere gown (yes Blake she’s even stolen your designer). First up for the British beauty was the Magnum event, in which she wore grey Victoria Beckham, proving that the beach doesn’t always require brights. Her last event in Cannes was naturally a billionaire yacht, or to be more precise, the Cavalli bash, in which she echoed Elizabeth Hurley, in a bandage LBD.

Unsurprisingly, lights were the hue of choice this week at Cannes. Jessica Chastain was effortless in haltered white Chanel, as was Cara Delevingne, who opted for a boho look in a plunging white Cavalli gown and sleek top bun. Toni Garnn, who partied the night away with Whiteley and Delevingne at the de Grisogono party, showed off her model physique in a thigh skimming white gown and dishevelled up-do. Marion Cotillard went against the grain and dressed up the cleansing colour, in a pleated prom style dress from Christian Dior and Louboutin heels.

If these A-list beauties are anything to go by, this summer we’ll all be wearing whites with fuss-free hair and a great tan.
