Look of the day – Dakota Fanning and Zhanna Bianca in Venice

Dakota Fanning has come a long way since her “Creasy” days and whilst it is her baby sister, Elle, who is often seen killing it on the red carpet, it was nice to see the original Fanning asserting her sartorial authority. And there is no authority in fashion higher than Miuccia Prada, the queen of kook. Fanning, attended the screening and after-party of Miu Miu Tales at the Venice Film Festival, alongside Lena Dunham, and Miuccia‘s favourite girl Kirsten Dunst. The starlet channelled butter wouldn’t melt in a pastel pink cardi and cream shift, both lightly embellished. As much as we loved the unlikely jewel green box clutch, and the I woke up like this off-centre parting, it was the jewel strapped blush pink platform sandals that scored Dakota a place firmly at the top of of our best dressed list.

Next up was blogger and Instagram star, Zhanna Bianca. The well-dressed Russian blonde who recently migrated to Milan, attended the film fest as a guest of Alberta Ferretti.

We’re not sure whether it’s the Charlotte Olympia kitten flats, the off-shoulder scarlet sundress, the boater or the canal that make this look so goddam cool, but whatever it is, it’s working.
