Get the Look – High necks and Centre-parted Hair at Ashley Williams

After throwing back to the 80s I’m currently in the mood for something modern, cool and very London. Who better to look to than rising design star Ashley Williams, known for injecting fun and a bit of funkyoffishness into our lives.

Processed with VSCOcam with b1 presetAs I’m now rocking a very Supreme-esque bob I’ve given my wardrobe a bit of an overhaul- big fur collars have proved very useful in making up for lost hair, as incidentally are polo necks/high necks/roll necks.

As cool as it is to rock a retro look one doesn’t want to look like a perpetual throwback. Thankfully Ashley has offered up some suitable funky alternatives: high neck kitsch knits and tees and quite possibly the coolest coat I have seen in a while; And along with it the easiest hair do in history: a centre-parting.

Get The Look:

If you’ve got a bob you can wear it straight or tousle it. If you’re feeling really low maintenance twist it the night before.

If you’re more of a spontaneous sort and this fantastic idea needs to be implemented immediately, simply curl random and large sections of your hair with a curling wand (Cloud Nine as always do a great one)

Wrap your hair around the wand in the direction you want it to fall in, hold the curl as it cools and gently release. When you’ve finished, spritz with some hair spray or texturising spray, (Bumble & Bumble’s Thickening Dryspun Finish is a goody) and roughly shake out the curls.

If you fancy the middle look, read our GTL on how to get poker straight hair and pop it behind your back.

It’s almost too easy.
