What product can’t you live without?

Aveeno daily moisturiser (£7.65, Boots), M.A.C Studio Fix powder in NC25 (£21.50, Selfridges) and Maybelline Babylips (£2.99, Boots)

What do you love about living in London?

There’s always so much going on creatively that you are spoilt for choice for fun things to do!

Do you change your regime for the seasons?

In winter I tend to moisturise more and in summer when I have a tan I get through so many bottles of Palmers Cocoa butter! (£3.99, Boots.) In winter I also tend to wear darker and more autumnal lipsticks and eye colours where in summer I prefer lighter and sheerer shades

Do you change your look when you travel?

In London I tend to groom more, as everyone else does. When you have a tan you need less makeup, and on holiday I use salt spray by Bumble & Bumble (£21.50, Boots) rather than hair drying and straightening.

What would you say is signature to your look?

Long hair, brown eyeliner for a smokey eye and lots of bronzer! ( I like MAC mineralize bronzer)

How do you manage it? What do you use?

I get my hair cut and coloured at Toni and Guy. I like sixties style undone hair so I usually take a photo of Jean Shrimpton or Jane Birkin for inspiration. I tend to keep make up fairly simple. I use early Bond girls for make up inspo, women like Ursula Andress. I use mostly MAC makeup but also love the formulations of GOSH and Lipstick Queen (from £18, Space NK).

Who (if anyone) influences your style?

As well as music influences like Patti Smith and Debbie Harry, Sixties sirens and nineties models: Jane Birkin, Francoise Hardy, Brigette Bardot, Sophia Loren, Jean Shrimpton, Julie Christie, Ursula Andress…Brooke Shields, Helena Christensen, Christy Turlington.

What do you think defines the London look?

Being a hot mess. It’s not like in New York or Paris where everything is super groomed and constructed. In London although people do make an effort it sometimes seems that the people who look the most fantastic have made a style out of a happy accident.

What last made you blush?

When my rape alarm went off in the middle of a comedy club. Needless to say, I was suitably mocked…
