Get the Look – Poppy’s Faux Fur and Leather Trousers

Whilst we wouldn’t advocate sunglasses in Winter, Poppy Delevingne’s style choices are another matter. The model and general girl about town, was spotted, unsurprisingly- about town, in two winter essentials: a black faux fur jacket and leather trousers.

As party season approaches these are two wardrobe staples that you’ll find yourself using again and again.

Pair leather trousers with a sparkly cami, or festive knit, for cosy evenings in or out and your faux fur with pretty much everything.

This Whistles shrubby is a shearling dream, exquisitely constructed and cosy, it’s currently half price at £270.

If you want a real bargain, opt for Topshop‘s faux fur crop, now only £50.

My absolute fave, admittedly isn’t cropped but, it looks so cosy that I need in my life, now.  Religion Faux Fur Coat, £170 at ASOS

A good pair of leather trousers are hard to find- don’t even get me started on leather leggings; I’m yet to find a pair that doesn’t give me a saggy crotch (not the best of looks). When that great pair comes along, even if they are £300 you have to act fast because, if you get the right pair you’ll wear them forever.

To guarantee the perfect fit, opt for leather on the front and stretch on the back. Sometimes this can look a bit cheap, but done well- or the Joseph way- is a safe bet

Or if you fancy keeping things cheap and cheerful Urban Outfitters’ faux leather leggings are a steal at £55 and, most importantly, don’t look it.
