Get the Look – Daisy Lowe & Erin O’Connor make a statement

There’s something about these two that instantly makes me want go out and buy leopard print and red lipstick. Daisy Lowe and Erin O’ Connor, who attended the My Theresea x JJ Martin party in Paris, did us Brits proud in their opposing but equally awesome looks.

Daisy offset her leopard two-piece with barely there foundation, a touch of mascara and a nude lip, whilst Erin amped up her black ensemble with a bold brow and punchy red lip. Even though last week I lauded the bare-faced beauty of Leigh and co. These two have me hankering after statement pieces all over again.

Tom Ford‘s Lips and Boys collection was a holiday hit and the gift that keeps on giving, as the minis are now all available to buy at Selfridges, in every shade from silver to scarlet.  I’d opt for Alexander, a soft shimmering pink that would perk up a pale complexion, or Addison for medium to dark skin tones. Tom Ford Alexander Tom Ford, Lips & Boys lipstick wardrobe, £26 at Selfridges Finish with a curling mascara, like Eyeko‘s skinny mascara. Though the formula does become a bit sticky by the end of the day, the length and curl of this mascara makes it totally worth it. Eyeko skinny mascara Eyeko skinny brush mascara, £15 at SpaceNK Erin Blink Brow Bars always do a wonderful job at taming my sluggish brows, but it was the addition of  their house eyebrow pencil that transformed them into Cara-contending beauties. Blink brow pencil Blink eyebrow pencil, £13, available at John Lewis Erin used the old make-up artist favourite of applying a light shimmery shadow to the inner corners of eyes to open them up. Shisheido‘s shimmering cream eye colour would be great here and for fairer skin tones, can be swept across the entire lid. Shisheido shimmering cream mist Shiseido shimmering cream eye colour in Mist, £21.50, Boots Set against a great base, it’s the orange-red matte lipstick that makes Erin stand out. An old favourite is Tom Ford’s Firecracker, or if you’re after something erring more on the red side and new for the season, you have to try Chanel’s luminous matte lip colour in Le Petillante. This softy glides on for the perfect matte finish.
