There are some mornings that you find yourself in unexpected locations.
Being hungover on the tube is never fun; actually it’s the harshest punishment to end an amazing night/morning.
When you’ve called Uber three times in one night, it’s pretty hard to justify it at 12 o’clock the next day. These three will do their best to keep you looking fresh and avoid being that douche on the tube wearing sunnies.
Bobbi Brown – Touch-up stick
I’ve been using it every morning as a concealer, but Bobbi Brown’s Touch-up stick is great for swishing all over the face and covering up any blemishes being exposed in the harsh light of Sunday morning.

Topshop – Lip and cheek jelly
It makes a great lip balm, but Topshop’s lip and cheek jelly, perfectly perks up lacklustre cheeks, like the good old fashioned tints from Benefit and Bodyshop. What sets this lip and cheek stain apart, is the gel like formula housed in a handy little pot; dainty enough to fit into the smallest cross body bag.
Laura Mercier – Long lash mascara
Laura Mercier’s long lash mascara doesn’t come in the most compact of mascara tubes (for that you’ll need Eyeko,) but what’s great about it is the brush. The whole point of even bothering to apply make-up on the morning of a hangover is to give you that ‘I woke up like this look’, which doesn’t really work if you’ve got clumpy mascara or unrealistically coiffed lashes. Mercier’s gives lashes definition and a little lift without screaming that you’ve put mascara on. Perfect.
