The Autumn/Winter 15 shows saw a distinct return to glamour – and thank god, because I was getting pretty bored of wearing smart cropped trousers and white tees.
This season saw the return of plush velvets, embellishment and fur- all ideal for nippy winter nights. As its likely to snow this weekend, now seemed a better time than ever, to reveal our first shoot!
Fittingly entitled Return to Glamour the shoot celebrates all that I love about winter – fur collars, supple leather and berry lips. The shoot features singer/songwriter and model in the making Shanteh Fuller-who also happens to be cousin (if you want to check her out follow her @ShantehFuller.)
In the meantime, as you contemplate whether or not to brave the weekend’s chill, here’s a look you can get behind now.
We were inspired by JW Anderson’s take n 80s Berlin and the high neck blouses and solo earrings that went along with it. On the beauty side, it was the dark glamour of Giles and Marc Jacobs that had us searching for the deepest darkest berries around
Get the Look:
Playing make-up artist for the day, I started with Laura Mercier’s Silk Creme Oil Foundation in Pecan (£35) after prepping skin with Kiehl’s Daily Moisturiser and Smashbox’s Oil-Free Photo Finish Primer (£25.50). I finished the face with a quick dusting of M.A.C’s Mineralise in Deep Dark (£24).
Lastly, I lined lips with Smashbox’s Always Sharp Liner (£15.50) in Vivid Violet and finished with Laura Mercier’s Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Plumberry (£21).
Hope you liked the shoot! More to come soon!
