Even though trainers have been the objects of our affections for some time now, there are many an occasion (in England at least,) in which they’re just not practical; our rainy days are no secret and most definitely not conducive to keeping one’s white Raf’s, white. So, when the High-St shoe masters, that are Kurt Geiger, asked Blush to style our favourite boots from their Autumn/Winter collection, it was a no- brainer.
The options were endless: block-heeled, mock-croc leather boots, thigh high over the knee stunners in onyx velvet, sharp blue suede chelsea boots and this season’s scene-stealer silhouette the sock boot, I must admit I was a little overwhelmed. So I asked some of my favourite beauty blogging buddies if they wanted in on the action; obviously they did.
My photographer cousin and I went to visit each girl in their neighbourhood, self-styled in their favourite KG boots. I also got involved, naturally.
Jamie – West is Best – South Kensington
Beauty PR and blogger at BeautyRocks, Jamie Rockers, is one of the loveliest ladies in the business and an all round doll.
Jas – It’s all about Hackney babe
Jas is my partner in crime, you will often find us at many a press launch, drinking champs in the corner and munching on mini cakes. Agent to many a make-up artist, Jas is the girl with the inside scoop and the best dye job in town. Her beauty blog Crush with Eyeliner is the place to go for the tricks of the trade.

Emily – Village living south of the river
Emily is a total pro. She takes her blog Style Lobster extremely seriously and it shows. The blogger and vlogger has the most enviable of Instagram accounts and is destined for big things. I first met Emily at a Trilogy event and we bonded on the tube home back down South. She’d only been vlogging for a couple of months but had already racked up hundreds of views with her Kylie Jenner lip tutorial. Emily is the hottie next door who manages to do it all, without ever having hair out of place.

Me – East, South, North, West, I’ve been all over and London’s best
So I guess I don’t really need to introduce myself, but hey. So what can I say that you don’t already know? I run this blog, I write all the content and take about 70% of the pictures. I’m from London, I love the finer things in life but have a weakness for cheap cider. I should exercise more, but there’s really not enough time in the day. I love photoshoots but hate pictures of myself, so editing this shoot was a pretty painful experience; I also realised I walk like a 90-year old granny, so I think I’ll be taking up yoga this year. Oh and I can’t drive- what a bloody disgrace.
