I’ve never really been a fan of leopard print, mainly because it conjures up images of Shirley Carter in a mini skirt, before she ditched her fishnets and became a grandma.
Leopard print has always been a bit garish for me, so I tend to limit my leopard usage to accessories only. With that being said I’ve always wanted a leopard print coat, but have always thought they look better on blondes (Kate Moss being the ultimate). And whilst that may still be the case, a recent pic of Emma Roberts, I found whilst researching last week’s jeans piece, made me realise that it might be time to put my reservations behind me and take the plunge.
Perhaps my recent perusal of the Pre-Fall ‘15 trends gave me the push I needed, because everyone from Alexander Wang to Stella McCartney, have nodded to the old classic.
So, if you really want to be a step ahead for the rest of 2016, I’d suggest bagging one of the below now and storing it smugly until the summer is over; you’re going to need something to look forward to!
