Spring is on the way and I have to say I’m ready to see the sun again. The mulled wine and nights by the fire, were great and everything, but nothing’s better then whipping out your trench and letting your ankles run free. That’s the feeling I had this Fashion Week, which was over in a flash.
It was quite possibly the quickest LFW ever, but it was lovely to be back near Somerset House and I saw some truly fantastic shows. Sadie Williams and Isa Arfen convinced me to finally eschew winter black, in favour of gorgeous jewel and primary colours, that look so perfect for the months ahead; but more of that next week. This week I’m having a Folli Follie moment. I’d never actually tried anything from the brand before, so when they offered to share some of their new season pieces with me for Fashion Week, I had said yes as soon as I’d seen the Logomania bracelet.
For those of you who are new to Folli Follie like me- it’s an International brand hailing from Greece, founded back in ’82. Folli Follie is all about instilling fearlessness and fun in it’s wearer, but it’s pieces are no laughing matter. They are affordably sublime; no mean feat.
Folli Follie specialise in jewellery and have recently expanded into accessories; so being the greedy guts that I am, I had to try both.
I opted for the Logomania Bracelet, an awesome, subtle logo piece that makes any sleeve look swish. This comes in Rose Gold only, but for those who aren’t that flashy, it’s actually a really subtle rose tinge, that is not at all OTT.
The perfect compliment to my new Rose Gold bracelet? Obviously more Rose Gold. And for this it had to be the Lady Bubble Necklace, a simply stunning piece that had all the paps snapping at LFW. If you want a single piece to feel instantly swanky in, then this is it. Truly.
Last but not least, was the Style Code Bag, which for some reason I really wanted in green. I’ve never had a green bag, but this is the cutest thing. I opted for the mini, because I feel like come Spring, I’m not going to want to be lumbered with a giant sack anymore. The green is a stunning leafy shade, that screams Spring. Adorned with gold hardware, this bag looks even more expensive than it is, which is surely what every woman wants from anything she owns?
