Introducing – & Other Stories Foundation

Since launching a couple of years ago, & Other Stories has fast become the bane of my wallet and the light of my life. Grown-up fashion for Zara fans, looking for something a little more unique,;Stories also happens to be perfect, for those who may have grown out of Topshop, but aren’t quite minimal enough for Cos.

& Other Stories, (as you can tell from my many Get the Looks), is top dog when it comes to classic dressing, with European flair. They also, like their baby sis H&M, manage to keep you in store, with all of the fantastic beauty products on offer.

The nail varnishes and body scrubs, rank highly on list of faves, so I was delighted to receive news on the launch of their new foundations. And even more delighted to discover that it was available in my shade.

I opted for Meisen Walnut which was a pretty much perfect match. The formula was light and highly pigmented, meaning that a little went a long way. The bottle- as with all thing Stories, is compact and chic, with an always handy, dropper top.

The formula itself was extremely durable and lasted the entire day. The only problem I had, was that it did oxidise quite dramatically, taking it from a perfect match, to slightly off-kilter. Don’t despair though, this is totally salvageable with powder and a little bronzer, but such a shame, as it is a fantastic product. Thankfully this is their first foray into complexion cosmetics, so there is time to perfect this small problem.

Fantastic product otherwise, and another reason to spend more of my dollar at Stories.

& Other Stories, Liquid Foundation, £18.50, Stories.com
