What to Wear for Summer in The City

Every summer we are inundated with vacay shopping guides, and every year I reach new levels of FOMO. Whilst I most definitely indulge in a summer trip or three, I’m yet to achieve the 4 hour work week lifestyle, in which I can spend 6 months here and 6 months in the sun. Nevertheless I remain optimistic, thanks in the most part to my 5 year plan.

But as usual, I digress. Whilst it’s fun to look at raffia panamas and saucy rompers that would look incredible tied just so, over a nautically striped bikini; summer in the city sadly does not allow for such frivolity. We’ve got work to do. And as has become customary with London life, it is most likely that the sun will be out, right up until the clock strikes 5.30 and it’s time for us to go home in our flip flops and the rain.

So what is a chic urbanite in search of a leg tan, to do?

In an effort to alleviate our collective pain, I’ve compiled some of the best pieces currently on the market, that will take you from work to the park, pub and pool.
